The band has been established since June 2000, with our best season being 2005 when we qualified to play in the finals of the Worlds and we were placed 5th at Cowal. We were also successful at the local competitions. We are also very active in the community playing at various functions, having also been asked to play at the  Beating Retreat at Holyrood on a few occasions we are usually very busy during the year. Our membership has grown from approximately 10 members at the outset to around 30 members now.
