Lathallan School is an independant school based in Brotherton Castle near Johnshaven, around 20 miles South of Aberdeen. Pupils are taught Bagpipes by P/M John Nevans and P/M Jim Semple and Drums by L/D Scott Niven.

The band undertakes a number of local engagements each year, including Drumtochty Highland Games and Montrose Rememberance Parade.

The school holds an annual "Mini Highland Games" in the grounds each September, which features a number of Piping and Drumming competitions.
