Oldmeldrum RBL Pipe Band is the band attached to the Royal British Legion, Oldmeldrum Branch and was formed in 1972.  Band members of all ages are recruited from in and around the Aberdeenshire area.  The band wears the Gordon tartan inherited from its days as the 4th/7th Battalion The Gordon Highlanders.  Over the years the band and its members have picked up numerous awards, culminating in becoming Grade 4B World Champions in 2003.
